Our Mission
The Warren Project Corp. is dedicated to carrying on the community service legacy of retired Col. Barry Warren by providing relief and support to the underprivileged children and families of Bradford County.
Background
The Warren Project Corp. is a newly incorporated nonprofit organization in the State of Florida. Founded by Bradford County native Sarah Mosley, the corporation was established to carry on the legacy of a well-known individual in the community. The mission of the corporation is to provide support and relief to the children and families in Bradford County, who may be underprivileged or struggling.

Retired Col. Barry Warren, of the Starke Police Department, is Sarah's father. He played an active role in the community through his countless hours of community service. Sarah grew up, acting as Barry's sidekick, attending meetings, fundraisers, and events for other local organizations, such as Kiwanis Club, Rotary Club, Education Foundation, and more. Through this experience, Sarah gained a love for not only her community, but she also gained a love for community service. At the age of 9, Sarah started a notebook to take notes on her father's largest community service project, which was the local Shop With a Cop event. Her father was the sole coordinator who, with the help of community donations and participation, ran the event for 19 years. However, in 2023, Barry Warren retired from the Starke Police Department, and in 2024, the department was closed down. Due to the closure of the SPD, in May 2024 Sarah notified the local sheriff's office of her intentions to start this organization to save and maintain the local Shop With a Cop event, in honor of her father. However, by October 2024, after hours of applications, paperwork, and waiting periods for approval for the organization, Sarah discovered that the sheriff's office had intentions of taking over the event without notifying her or her father.

As of November 12, 2024, Sarah met with a team of deputies from the local sheriff's office to discuss the event and who would take it over. Despite her father's 19-year service, her 15-year preparation, and the notice given to the sheriff's office for her intentions with this organization, Sarah was informed by the team of deputies that they wanted control of the event with their name tied to it. Sarah was in an hour long meeting with them, where she heard their concerns, questions, and plans/ideas for the event. However, they were discussing major changes to the way the event was coordinated and ran, all of which would only benefit public appearance rather than the actual public. Sarah voiced her concerns and opinions about these changes, but the opposition was not willing to budge. Thus, with a broken heart, Sarah had to let go of her life-long mission to take over Shop With a Cop after her father, and instead she informed the team of deputies that she would not want her name or her organization's name affiliated with the event if they were going to be making the proposed changes to it.

After shedding tears, communicating with her father, and communicating with her board, Sarah picked herself up by thinking of other ways she can help her community now that she has the nonprofit. Sarah planned to bring back some other events that had previously benefited the community but had been cancelled. She planned some new initiatives based on her experience as a BCSD employee, and thought of some ideas to help the community based on related experiences she had while helping her father in the past. Thus, she kept the organization running to ensure the families of Bradford County were truly served when they had a need.

Today, our organization is run by Bradford County natives who have each played active roles in the community. The experience of directors ranges from working in the local schools, other local organizations, local businesses, and general community service activities. Our current directors were chosen based on their dedication to the community, the children, and the families that exist within Bradford County.

Although we are a newly founded corporation, we are proud and dedicated to serving the people of Bradford.
